LIZ HOGAN - THINK LIKE A GOALIE
How to BE one and how to BEAT one!
Team USA and WPLL Pride goaltender Liz Hogan, held an incredibly informative session for goalies AND shooters on the way goalies think, prepare and play.
Incorporating a Power Point screen share which she created for the session, Liz focused on the fundamental components of goaltending, from style of play, to stance and arcs as well as the mental aspect of the position, describing with each, the advantages and disadvantages to both goaltenders and shooters.
Liz illustrated 'GIVE-AWAYS' that shooters have with regards to shot placement and 'TELLS' that goalies have about where to best shoot the ball.
Liz finished with a Q&A in which she expanded on the theme of the session.
The video clips of her session are embedded and a copy of the Power Point presentation is available for download below.
